Armend Shabani is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Prishtina. He received his Ph. D. in Mathematics at the University of Prishtina in 2016. He supervised several undergraduate and graduate students. He serves as referee for several international refereed journals. He published more than twenty-five research papers. He co-authored several elementary school books. His research interests are mainly in Combinatorial Statistics and its applications. He is a founder and a Managing Editor of a recently founded journal, Enumerative Combinatorics and Applications. He participated in numerous projects with Ministry Education as well as with International Institutions operating in Kosovo. At present, he is in his second term as president of the Kosovar Mathematical Society.
