Driton Qehaja

Driton Qehaja has a doctor title from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, WU-Wien, Austria. Professor Qehaja has followed his academic carrier at MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA, as a Fulbright professional awarded scientist and Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship. His working experience is at International Monetary Fund (IMF) as Special Appointee, Desk Economist – Moldova team, Washington DC, USA; in University of Pristina as an associate professor; in UNDP/SOROS – CBF (Capacity Building Facility) Advisor as EU Integration CBF Advisor; in the Office of the Prime Minister as Head in the Coordination Office on International Corporation, and in many other positions. He has coordinated many projects such as “Propose and present to the key stakeholders of the water sector an approach for dealing with bad debt by RWCs including writing–off and VAT payment on bad debt. (Period Covered:  01.07.2014 – 31.12.2014)”, “Assess the policy recommendation on social cases in the Government Water Policy and suggest a solution for this category to the Government. (Period Covered:  01.04.2016 – 01.08.2016)”, and many other projects.
